Our second post of Looking Back’ we are featuring Argentinian born photographer and film maker Horacio Coppola (31 July 1906 – 18 June 2012), who was married to German photographer Grete Stern. In 1936, Horacio was commissioned to photograph Buenos Aires for its 400th anniversary, in which he produced streetscapes that captured the romance, vitality and squalor of a great city.
