The 255 is a free update for all current Hipstamatic owners. Otherwise, Hipstamatic normally retails for $1.99, but the base model is currently on sale at iTunes for only $0.99 for a limited time in honor of the July 4th festivities.
Portrait SnapPak
Along with the release of the new update, Hipstamatic also released another lens and film combo pack, the new Portrait SnapPak, featuring the Foxy Lens and the Sugar Film for an additional $0.99 and after purchasing it this evening, I will have to wait for the right situation to try it out.
